C&S #641 still exists! I made this quick photo of it on display in front of the Leadville C&S station in Sept. 1999. It's welded to the rails and is maintained cosmetically. The station now is used to sell passenger tickets for the Leadville, Colorado & Southern tourist railroad which runs up to end of track more than halfway to the Climax Mine. The engine is still on display as of 2013.
