View up Arrastra Gulch from alongside the lower Tramway terminal. The tram's upper end was next to the mine entrance which once was located at about the little white spot (a snow bank) high on the mountain. The climbing dirt road branches off the Silverton Northern grade and then crosses the Animas R. Both are hidden in the Animas R. canyon behind the aspens in this view. Silverton is to the right.
