Glenbrook's original crosshead pump traveled with the locomotive to the Nevada County Narrow Gauge. In the 1930s, the NCNG master mechanic Johnny Nolan realized the value of the pump and buried it under his garage for safe keeping. After the Glenbrook was saved and eventually moved to the Nevada State Railroad Museum, the pump was unearthed and donated.
