This roster covers the original Nevada & California Railroad prior to reorganization as the Nevada & California Railroad on January 1, 1885. The Nevada & California Railroad became the Nevada - California - Oregon Railway in 1893 and was subsequently acquired by the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1925.
