Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1880 for the South Pacific Coast Railroad of California. The locomotive was delivered June 1881

-The locomotive was sent to Sparks, Nevada for rebuilding into a 4-6-0 on November, 30 1921. As a result of the rebuild, the boiler was increased in length by 38 inches and it gained 12 tons in weight.

-Total Locomotive Weight: 73,700 lbs.<br>

-The locomotive remained in service until it was vacated from the roster in Mina, NV. on July 30, 1932. It was shipped to Sacramento, CA. and scrapped on June 21, 1934.
