After service on the West Side the locomotive was sold to the Sierra & San Francisco Power Co. for use constructing Relief Reservoir near . After construction was completed the locomotive was presumably scrapped. There were reports of the boiler remaining along the lake, but this was found to be an old stationary boiler.
