Baynes Sound Colliery Company.
36in Gauge. Tramway constructed to haul coal from the mine to a wharf at the company town of Quadra on Baynes Sound. A drop in market price left the company unprofitable as the result of depressed market prices. The mine closed down in 1878. Baynes Sound, Vancouver Island. 1875 - 1878

Dolly Varden Mines Railway.
36in Gauge.The Dolly Varden Mine proceeded some of the richest silver ore ever discovered. In 1917 the company constructed a railroad from the mine to an ore bunker and wharf at Alice Arm.
