Locomotive 6's cab was delivered with a dark walnut finish.

Passenger Equipment
1870
The first passenger cars were finished on the interior with Bird's Eye Maple and Dark Walnut. Seats were upholstered in crimson plush and green backing.

The Salt Lake City depot platform was paved with asphaltum, with a broad white line across it to keep hotel runners and hack drivers away from the building and allow open access to and from the street.
