Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1882 for the South Pacific Coast Railroad of California.

When it was built South Pacific Coast #13 was delivered in the standard Baldwin paint scheme called Style 103.

Originally ordered for the Connotton Valley Railroad February 1881 but not delivered. Ordered by the South Pacific Coast Railroad in March 1882. Transferred to the South Pacific Coast Railway May 1887.

April 1915 to April 1927

Scrapped in Sacramento November 1927
