The Golden State and Miners Iron Works was located at 237-257 First Street, San Francisco, CA. The President of the company was Wales L. Palmer. 1881 Circular of the Golden State and Miners' Iron Works

In August 1883 the Iron Works built a 12 ton locomotive for the Arcata & Mad River Railroad.
