Cheshire passenger cars painted a “reddish-brown color adopted by the Cheshire road,” lettered and striped in gilt.

Cheshire passenger cars painted “the standard Fitchburg color,” and cars “lettered ‘Cheshire Railroad’ are getting to be pretty scarce and will soon disappear entirely from the passenger service.”
